Everyone is aware of how critical server backups are and now there’s an inexpensive way to automate your server backups with amazon S3. Check out the link below for a guide.
I normally try to avoid server/unix jargon on this blog but as you can
tell I have become infatuated with Amazon’s affordable storage
solution, S3, as of late. We all know that it is important to keep
recent backups of anything you value at all, so why not automate the
process?

You might also be interested in JungleDisk. It’s a neat interface to S3 which makes your storage space appear as a network disk. I’ve been using it for a few years now, and couldn’t live without it.
